The Pied Bull was established in 1155 as Chester's oldest coaching inn and is situated within the city's Roman walls. The hotel operates its own microbrewery on site, producing handcrafted ales that guests can sample in the bar. Exclusive brewery tours led by head brewer Richard are available for guests, detailing the brewing process and ending with a tasting of the beers.
